The All-Season U/V Blade from Capital I Industries can handle both summer and winter road maintenance tasks with ease.  This blade is ideal for operators looking for a multi-functional attachment, that provides excellent control and efficiency in a variety of conditions.  Designed for maximum adaptability, the both halves of the blade can be independently positioned forward or backward 30 degrees to create; a U-shaped collecting blade, a V- shaped distributing blade, or aligned together, to be forward, backward or straight.  The cutting edges are also hydraulically controlled to allow them to be pulled back to a drag position, for better roadway finishing, as well as less aggressive ground contact when moving snow.

As with other Capital I equipment, the All-Season U/V Blade can easily be attached to your grader with the Capital I Quick Attach Lift Group, or alternate front lift group quick attach systems.  The quick attach mount frame provides vertical movement while moving snow, that can be pinned to become a solid mount for earthwork.  In combination with this vertical movement, the All-Season U/V Blade also provides left and right tilt 6-1/2 degrees.  The tilt function is switchable between free floating, or hydraulically controlled.  Additionally, the All-Season U/V Blade can be rolled forward and back, to change the contact angle of the cutting edge, or allow the nose in the V position to be raised or lowered.

The All-Season U/V Blade provides seasonal solutions, with enlarged snow cap extensions on top of the blades.  Gauge wheels on the wings, combined with the floatation of the quick attach frame, allow the blade to follow the contour of the ground.  The multiple positions of the blade enable v-plowing through snowbanks, collecting snow into piles, or clearing snow off to the side.
